Acute Injury Management

Acute injury management is the immediate treatment of the injury, e.g. lacerations, sprains or breaks, along with the follow-through treatment and any necessary rehabilitation.

Throughout this process, our doctors and staff liaise with the employer, insurer and any other relevant party to ensure transparency of treatment and care.

Pre Employment Screenings

Pre employment screenings enable employers to identify and document a worker's medical fitness for a proposed position, protecting both parties from inappropriate placement and unnecessary injuries.

Pre employment screenings can be customised to meet the needs of the client. Such screenings can include the likes of urine drug testing and testing of pre-existing conditions such as loss of hearing and back problems.

Work Capacity Assessments

A work capacity assessment is conducted on a worker with a non-work related injury or illness to determine suitability/capacity to work in a specific job role.

Our practitioners will take the time to understand the requirements of a specific job and assess accordingly, providing a fitness for duty report to the employer.

Injury Management Consultations

An IMC will assess the situation, examine the worker and discuss possible solutions with all parties.

Such assessment is carried out by a registered medical practitioner know as an Injury Management Consultant. This assessment assists in the return to work process when differences arise between the nominated treating doctor, the employer, insurer and/or the injured worker.

File Reviews

A file review is simply the review of the file where the practitioner is able to provide a report on the basis of a file review alone.

Insurers and return to work coordinators can request file reviews and may do so to determine the next best step in assessing and treating a worker’s health.

Corporate Wellbeing Services

Stemming from worker on the job health and safety, ensuring at home health, daily happiness and general wellbeing is also important when looking towards a more productive and engaged workforce.

Our corporate wellbeing programs can be customised to suit the needs of the client and all programs are designed to inform and educate workers on how to live well both at home and at work.

Health/Functional Assessments & Training

Our health/functional assessments and associated training puts a focus on prevention being better than a cure and as a result reducing time that may be lost to injuries and poor health.

Whether it's assessments and training of a physical nature, addressing a workers functional movements, manual handling requirements, or general health status and vaccination status, or related to that of a physiological nature, we customise our offering to suit our clients needs.

Corporate Consulting

We help companies manage workplace health and safety (WHS), to develop and implement best practice standards which may or may not include a multi service offering from CMC.

Establishing long term relationships with a medical provider ensures the best outcomes for keeping workers healthy and safe, and employers educated and better able to excel in their WHS offering.
